Do you want to be my muse?
The Artists Sheets of Thomas Geiger follow a tradition rooted in the early 20th century. Influenced by Jugendstil and the Arts & Crafts movement, industrial giants engaged artists to illustrate their companies’ shares to enhance their value. Geiger adopts this approach by asking other artists to contribute their own work to his sheets.
My contribution consists of four sheets with the text “Do you want to be my muse?” I punched small holes in the sheets, except where the letters are.
