2013, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam
The artwork “Forever Young” consists of a transparent curtain made of clear PVC strips, measuring 60 meters long and 5 meters high. It divides the large Bodon gallery in Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen into ‘front and back’ spaces, which remain visible and physically connected. The work transforms visitors into participants or performers, as they can walk through it, yet it influences their movement throughout the exhibition. The shape of the work playfully references Richard Serra’s ‘Waxing Arcs,’ one of the museum’s permanent monumental works.
