2002, de Vleeshal, Middelburg
Kiss & Go” in De Vleeshal in Middelburg is an architectural intervention in a historic space that highlights the interaction between visitors and my work. The audience plays the central role, entering a theatrical experience invited by the work. Two gentle staircases flanked by monumental walls line the long Gothic space of De Vleeshal. These staircases lead to a meeting point with a view of the entire space. Visitors engage in fleeting encounters or prolonged observations, followed by movement through the work itself.
