Three life-sized images of phone booth advertisements from New York (2015). The drawing images capture the reflection of the glass, the original advertisement, the frame of the phone booth, and the surrounding environment. These machine-drawn images are created on newspaper, divided across six sheets, and then pasted on the wall. The use of newspaper and direct application to the wall highlight the temporality of the image and the rapid discoloration of the paper, while also questioning the site-specific nature of the image. The mechanical production process allows for multiple versions of the drawings to be made without them being reproductions.
