1998, de Ateliers, Amsterdam
The work consists of a wooden structure and five black-and-white photocopy images. The structure, measuring 3 x 4 x 6 meters, comprises two horizontal layers of wooden beams supported by four vertical wooden posts, resembling a room. Positioned in the center of the existing space, the horizontal layers serve as viewing windows for both the space and the photocopy images. These images, originally from brochures and magazines, have been enlarged to human scale, functioning as a scale model within the work. As a visitor, you engage with the object, the space, and the five individual photocopy images.
